From Frank —There is a good article, ” keeping the main thing the main thing” on page 17 in the latest edition of the Pulse. I highly recommend that everyone reads this article.
what do you think?? Garry
from Wayne’s prev post
….. from the Surfside ThinkTank night
that the morning and evening sessions of our Church be combined either once a month/term (or Wayne’s ideal – all the time) so that we can have the complete generational membership in fellowship. The benefit being that the younger members of the congregation will have the guidance and support of the older members and be able to glean their wisdom about things we struggle with while the older members will have new ideas and energy to approach Church in new ways. The notion of the Church Family is the goal of this suggestion.
Beck left a comment on the “what have you missed post” – I thought it was a good question – good enough for it’s own post. gaz
Just wanted to know how far inner city people would be willing to travel for Church??
Beck thinks Jesmond is great – if you live in the inner city – how far is too far??
